Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna' (2):- Narad's Lesson about Pride

Today we will read a story about How Krishna purifies His devotees thr' tests and trials:-

Watch it here:

As mentioned in my previous post - NARAD met Bhakti mata and came to know about her problem , HE wanted to help her by asking KRISHNA about it . Bhakti wanted to know – how NARAD will be able to find the LORD ? As HE can be in any place of the whole creation doing miracles !

But NARAD was confident and said that it is very easy for HIM to find the LORD , because HIS real self always remains in HIS abode – GOLOKA . In fact, it is not difficult for NARAD to visit any place at will.

But when he started his journey, he became confused – he crossed all the universe, still could not find out the way to GOLOKA.

Witnessing all this, KRISHNA explained to RADHA that NARAD started his journey with pride , so he must get rid of it as soon as possible . HE also said that NARAD is very dear to HIM , so this is done for NARAD’S welfare. For this reason, the LORD is also called 'Bhaktabatsal' by HIS devotees.

After Wandering for a long time , NARAD became tired and realized his fault. He asked for forgiveness from the LORD and sincerely asked HIM to show the right way as he was seeking refuge in the LORD.

Hearing this, KRISHNA became very happy and went ahead to receive NARAD and explained - when a devotee comes to HIM without pride , then HE welcomes him personally! Thus, while NARAD was praying to KRISHNA with closed eyes, suddenly after opening his eyes, he found himself in HIS abode – GOLOKA ! Then they started discussing about the solution of Bhakti Mata's problem.

From this story , we came to know how KRISHNA made NARAD free from his pride, made him a more Pure Devotee than his previous self.

Jai Shri Krishna!

Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna' (1):- Story Of Bhakti Mata

Coming here after a long time :). Now sometime i will try to discuss or note some incidents shown in the Ramanand Saagar's 'Shri Krishna' , which were either not known to me or which have some greater significance. Dear friends, after reading these posts or watching the video, do share your experiences about the serial :).

STORY OF BHAKTI MATA

Watch it here:

And here:

From all these amazing LEELA of the LORD , now lets go back a bit , where the story of SHRI KRISHNA serial started . After narrating a few events from the starting episodes , we will again come to the childhood LEELAS of the LORD .

The serial starts with the story of NARAD’s meeting with BHAKTI MATA .

One day while visiting the earth , NARAD comes across a young lady crying with two aged persons . Gradually he comes to know that the lady is BHAKTI , but the two aged persons are her sons – GYAN and VAIRAGYA . All of them have become very feeble in health because of the influence of KALIYUG on people . BHAKTI regained her youth due to the atmosphere of DEVOTION at Vrindavan , but people had nearly abandoned GYAN and VAIRAGYA in KALIYUG – so they are suffering . She wanted to know from NARAD - how to revive her sons to good health .

Then NARAD , goes to KRISHNA , and BRAHMA to know the way to solve the problem of BHAKTI . According to their advice , he starts meditating on the word- OM at Badrikashram . after much penance , the four sons of BRAHMA - SANAK , SANANDAN , SANATAN and SANAT KUMAR come and tell him to arrange a reading of SHRIMAD BHAGAWAT at Anand Ghat near HARIDWAR .

They also explain that – Salvation can be achieved by only chanting the name of HARI in KALIYUG , whereas in SATYA , TRETA and DWAPAR yug - even penance , yoga and meditaion were not enough to achieve Salvation .

As they started narrating the PURAN , gradually GYAN and VAIRAGYA became young and healthy again .

This story shows us the impact of Shrimad Bhagwat . It contains the essence of all VEDAS , UPANISHADS and SCRIPTURES and enlightens our life in all possible ways .

Next time we'll see how Narad got rid of his pride by Shri Krishna.

Jai Shri Krishna!

Rukmini's Letter to Shri Krishna- Scenes from TV Series 'Mahabharat', 'Shri Krishna' and 'Krishnavataar' Novel

Dear Friends, we all know how Rukmini, the Princess of Vidarbha, sent her message to Shri Krishna expressing her wish to marry him and to save her from getting married to Shishupal (acc to the wish of her brother Rukmi). The Lord accepted her wish, came and married her. Such a beautiful incident!!

Today I am including the same sequence from B R Chopra's Mahabharat, Ramanand Saagar's Shri Krishna and a K M Munshi's Krishnavatara novel.

First, I am taking up the scene from Mahabharat (first four pictures of this post). Here is the video of the song:

The Lyrics of the song, was originally posted by Shivang in Orkut. I have LOVED this song since my childhood. I remembered this song even when I was busy with studies during my student life and completely forgot about Mytho shows. The Lyrics as well as the Music- both are Wonderful!! And Nitishji was too good!! His acting while reading the letter is So Real!!

Binati suniye....
Binati suniye, nath hamari; binati suniye, nath hamari.
Hridayeshwar Hari Hridayvihari, Hridayeshwar Hari Hridayvihari;
Mor-mukut pitambardhari, binati suniye nath hamari.

Janam janam ki lagi lagan hai, ho o o, Janam janam ki lagi lagan hai;
Saakshi taaron bhara gagan hai,
Gin gin shwaas aas keheti hai, aayenge Shri Krishn Murari,
Binati suniye, nath hamari.

Satat pratiksha apalak lochan, ho o o, Satat pratiksha apalak lochan;
He bhavbaadha, vipati-vimochan,
Swagat ka adhikar dijiye, sharnagat hai nayan poojari,
Binati suniye, nath hamari.

Aur kahun kya antaryami, ho o o, Aur kahun kya antaryami;
Tan man dhan praano ke swami,
Karuna kar, aakar yeh kahiye, swikari binati swikari,
Binati suniye, nath hamari,
Hridayeshwar Hari Hridayvihari, Hridayeshwar Hari Hridayvihari;
Mor-mukut pitambardhari, binati suniye nath hamari.
Binati suniye, nath hamari; binati suniye.......... nath hamari.

Now we have the song from Shri Krishna serial (Picture number 5 to 8 in this post). Here is the video (a bit lengthy video of the whole sequnce) :

The lyrics (along with its English Translation) were originally posted by Lola in India Forums. I really Love the lines- "Varan haran jo bhi karo, charan sharan do Naath" - such should be the ideal approach!! I become So emotional while listening to this song... All the words are So True!! One of the excellent compositions by Ravindra Jain. Pinky Parikh, who acted in the role of Rukmini here, acted So well.... I could FEEL her emotions with each line...

Duvidha Beech Padi, Preet Meri Duvidha Beech Padi – my love is amidst a dilemma
It Man Ki Baaj Khenche, It Kul Ki Laaj Roke – my heart pulls me one way, and my family's honor another
Duvidha Beech Padi, Preet Meri Duvidha Beech Padi

Main Preet Ko Nibhaaun,Yaan Reet Ko Nibhaaun – should I heed the voice of my heart, or that of tradition
Sankat Ki Hai Ghadi, Preet Meri Duvidha Beech Padi – it is a time of crisis for my heart

Varan Ki Jo Puchho, To Beete Yugon Mein – when it comes to marriage, then since eons
Ramaanath, Apna Varan Ho Chuka Hai – O lord of Lakshmi, we've already been married
Haran Ki Jo Socho To Man, Praan, Atma – speaking of abduction my heart, my life, my soul
Kabhi Se Sabhi Ka, Haran Ho Chuka Hai – all have been abducted so long ago
Tumharo, Hamaro Naathji Aadi-Ant Ko Saath X2 – yours and mine, o lord, is a union that precedes the beginning of time and outlasts the end of it
Varan, Haran, Jo Bhi Karo, Charan Sharan Do Naath! – so whether by marriage or abduction this time, just give me refuge at your sacred feet

Phoolon Pe Tum To Soye, Daasi Tumhaari Roye – you might be sleeping on a bed of flowers, but here your maid is in tears
Kaanton Beech Khadi, Akeli Roye Kaanton Beech Khadi –standing amidst thorns, she cries
Main Preet Ko Nibhaaun, Yaan Reet Ko Nibhaaun – should I heed the voice of my heart, or that of tradition
Sankat Ki Hai Ghadi, Preet Meri Duvidha Beech Padi – it is a time of crisis for my heart

And now, we are taking up the same sequence from the famous novel Krishnavatara by K M Munshi. Here he has created the character of Krishna with a 'realistic approach' to show how the teachings/ ideals of the Lord can be followed in this time also (i.e.- in Kaliyug)... Here also we find Complete Surrender from Rukmini, her words are full of Longing for the Lord, very very true to her emotions:-

Lord of the Yadavas, Noble son of Vasudeva,
Receive the humble prostrations of Thy devoted
Rukmini, daughter of Bhishmaka, the Best of Bhojas.

Seven autumns ago, when I saw Thee first,
I gave myself to thee for this life,
And all the lives to come.

Never and never have I forgotten,
Awake or asleep or in dreams,
That I am Thine and Thou art mine.

The fiat of Demon has gone forth,
The swayamvara is fixed for akshaya tritiya,
And I am left with no choice.

I am Thy wedded wife before the gods,
I have no more will to choose:
Even if I had, I have already chosen.

Come, Lord, with the eagle banner flying,
As soon as Thou dost receive this message.
I pine for Thee as the calf pines for the cow.

If I am alive, carry me away with Thee:
If I am dead, take my ashes away,
And scatter them where they will lie,
For Thee to tread upon.

Dear friends, Lord always values- Sincerity. 'Complete Surrender' to the Lord is the Only way to Peace (i.e.- eternal Hapniss, Blissful state), which is the final aim of our life. Today I just wanted to highlight the 'Surrendership' element in Rukmini through her message to Krishna, all of them are very very Dear to me!

Jai Shri Krishna!

'Shri Krishna Stuti': 2 Songs from Ramanand Saagar's 'Shri Krishna'

Dear Friends, today I am posting two of my most favourite songs from the TV Serial 'Shri Krishna'. Both the songs have these words- 'Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Muraare'... and the Music is also the same....

The first one is from the scene when Shri Krishna comes to the womb of Devaki, all the god along with Brahmaji and Naaradji come to sing the glory of the Lord! That moment conveys the joy of the coming of the Lord on this earth! I always feel the happiness inside while listening to it.

This is the video of the sequence (Uploaded by Dear Sister Lola) :

The lyrics along with its English Translation was originally posted by Lola in 'India Forums':

Narayanaya Namo Namah, Parmeshwaraya Namo Namah - we bow to you, God

Y'asmin Sthitah Jagat Sarvam, Sa Janani Garbhe Sthitah- you, within whom the whole universe resides, now reside in this mother's womb

Nirakaarah Ajanmayo, So Vayi Sa Karmagatah - formless, unborn, source of all actions and reactions

Bhav'aat Muktah, Bhavir Mukti, Janma Mrityor Kaaranam - the ever liberated giver of liberation, the controller of life and death

Sa Yujya Moksha Daata Cha, Anubhav'aartham, Bhavot-Bhavah - the giver of liberation, the meaning behind all experience, has entered the ocean of existence

Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudava - praise Krishna, lord of all creation and son of Vasudev

Pitu, Maat, Swami, Sakha Hamaare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudeva - our father, mother, friend, we praise you
Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudava

Tum Mein Vaas Kare Jag Saara, Tum Janani Ke Garbh Padhaara - within you resides the whole universe, and you have entered the mother's womb

Naath Chaturbhuj Antaryami, Ati Viraat Tribhuvan Ke Swami - four-armed lord who dwells within all hearts, the immeasurably vast master of all three worlds

Sukshma Roop Dhari Garbh Padhaare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudeva - has taken a tiny form and entered the womb, we praise you

Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudava

Shaarad Narad Paar Na Pave, Nigam Neti Kahi Agam Bataave - neither Saraswati (the goddess of knowledge) nor Narad (the knowing sage) fully understands you; one scripture negates a definition of you and refers us to the next

He Mayapati, Sur Nar Muni Sab Bhakti Vivash Tumhare Gun Gaave - o master of illusion, angels, sages, and men are taken over by devotion and praise you

Daras Ko Vyaakul Hai Lok Saare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudeva - anxious for a vision of you are all the universes

Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudava

Pitu, Maat, Swami, Sakha Hamaare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudeva - father, mother, friend of all
Shri Krishna Govind Hare Murare, He Naath Narayan Vaasudava

Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare!!

And the other one is the last song of the character named Bhanmati, when she wishes to merge in the Lord, at the end of her 'Maanav janm'... That one is TRULY DIVINE!! One of my most most beloved.song from 'Shri Krishna'... This song just elevates us through its sincere and devotional words... Sarva Daman Banerjeee looked like the 'Lord of the Universe' in this song... I just LOVE this song sooo Much...

This is the video of this song:

And here is the Lyrics (Posted by Dear Sister Soumya in Orkut):

Namo vishyasya roopay, vishwasthityant hetave;
Vishweshwaray Vishnay, Govinday namo namah.

Bhavaatmuktah, bhavirmukti, janm-mrityorakaaranam;
Saayujya moksha daataa cha, anubhavaartham bhavodbhavah.

Shri Krishna Govind hare murari,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva;
Shri Krishna Govind hare murari,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva;

Roop chaturbhuj dhar ke padhaare,
Roop chaturbhuj dhar ke padhaare,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva;
Shri Krishna Govind hare murari,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva.

Tumme vaas kare jag saaraa,
Saare jag me vaas tumhaaraa;
Sanchaalit hai, prati paalit hai,
Saari srishti tumhaare dwaaraa;
Jay Narayan, jay Narayan;
Jeevon me tum, tumme jeev saare;
Jeevon me tum, tumme jeev saare;
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva;
Shri Krishna Govind hare murari,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva.

Hetu poorna hua aane ka,
Deh-maanavi paane ka ;
Mrityulok se ab mera, samay nikat hai jaane ka;
Jay Narayan, jay Narayan;
Ab praan panchhi tumhe pukaare;
Ab praan panchhi tumhe pukaare;
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva;
Shri Krishna Govind hare murari,
He nath Narayan Vaasudeva.

Param dhaam aatmaa chali,
Kaayaa bhayee gatiheen;
Jyotirmay ki jyot me,
Ho gayee jyoti vileen..........
Hare Krishna Hare Krishna, Krishna Krishna Hare Hare.

Hope you'll love these songs...

Bliss Generated by Shri Krishna: Some songs from Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna'

Just thought to post some songs from Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna serial, where we can FEEL the Bliss genrated by the Lord to all the persons around Him. Each of these songs are Sooo Special to me due to emotions (Joy) they produce!

"Baal Roop dekhke jo Kanhaai", posted by Lola (IF)

Video:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AvNLdKxH6BY&feature=related

Baal roop dekhen jo Kanhaai, seeing the child form of Lord Krishna,
Munivar ne sudh budh bisaraai; the sage lost track of his surroundings
Harash apaar hriday na samaaye, his heart couldn't contain the immesne rush of joy
Nayanan me aansoo bhar aaye. it filled his eyes with tears

Antar gati jo bhayee lakhi swaami, his state of mind upon seeing his master
So jaanat bas antaryaami; could only be known by the Master Himself

Kaise abhinandan karen? "how shall I greet you, Lord?"
Muni kachhu samajh na paaye; the sage was lost in this confusion
Dekhi dasaa nij bhakt ki, seeing his devotee's condition,
Prabhu mann me musakaaye; the Lord smiled within his heart
Prabhu mann me musakaaye.

The next one is - "Dau ke sand daudan laage", posted by Lola (IF):

Video:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P_mKZGCY1fk&feature=related

daau ke sang daudan laage, kanha nand ke aangan mein ji – with his big brother, Krishna runs around Nand's yard
aangan se dwaare dwaare pe, aa gaye gaon ke galiyan mein ji – from the yard, they go door to door, through the streets of the village they pass
anand ki ek leher si daudi, gopin aur gwalan mein ji – a wave of bliss runs through all the cowboys and cowgirls in the town
dwar khadi brij naar take aur saj gaye nayan jharokan mein ji - the women of Braj are waiting by their doors, their eyes fixed at this sight from the window

yeh to purankaam ki murat – this is the image of the almighty
mohe lage bhagwan ki surat – to me, he looks like God himself
dekh ke maya mamta jaage – seeing him, a spell of motherly love overcomes them
shyam sabhi ko apno laage – Krishna looks to each one like their own

he re sakhi mohe ghungar wale kaale kesan mein uljhaayo – oh friend, he has me entangled in his curly black hair
laal ki chikne chikne gaal chhuye to mero jiyara lalchaayo – the baby's chubby little cheeks have made my heart long for him too
saanwri surat saamne aayi to jogi jati tap dhyaan bhulaayo – when his dusky face comes before them, even the staunchest ascetics forget their meditation
kaun jugan ko parichit premi, meet na jaane biraj mein aayo – my beloved from who knows how long ago has come to Braj
sundar shyam biraj mein aayo! – adorable Krishna has come to Braj

And here is my most Favourite song: "Yeh Kiska Abhinandan" , posted with translation by Dear Sister Vedo (IF)

Video:- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jGKlOv4SvQ8

Ati Viraat Brahmand Mein, Dharti Ek Lagu Kunj

In all the vast cosmos, the earth is but a small sphere

Isse Prakashit Kar Raha, Divya Jyoti Ka Punj
Illuminating this small sphere, is the light of divine radiance

Maa Bhudevi Ko Mila, Ati Durlabh Sanmaan
To Mother Earth has been given, the greatest of honors rarely ever conferred
Nar Bankar Aaye Yahaan, Narayan Bhagwan
In human form does appear here, the Absolute One, Lord Narayan Himself!

Yeh Kiska Abhinandan Karti Jhuk Jhuk Komal Pushp Lataaye
To honor whom do these flower laden trees bow?
Kaun Hai who Jiske Swaagat Mein Suman Surabhi Ke Kosh Lutaaye
Who comes hence that flowers freely shower their bounty of fragrance?
Kiske Darshan Ki Trishna Mein Uddte Panchi Ruk Ruk Jaaye
Who is He they are athirst to see, that birds stop in mid-flight?
Kiske Shri Charno Mein Praani Sudh Budh Bhoole Sheesh Jhukaaye
At whose sacred feet do these being lay their head in reverence?

Jiske Roop Anek Hai, Anagin Jiske Naam
He whose forms are many, He whose names are beyond counting
Shubh Darshan Kalyaan Kar, Dukh Haari Sukh Dhaam
To look upon whom bodes auspicion, He who destroys sorrows and is the abode of bliss

Yahi Hai Woh Mohan Jan Jan Ka Mann Harne Wala
He is the enchanter, for he ravishes every heart
Ke Aane Se Jiske Hua Hai Alokik Ujaala
Who is the one whose very coming radiates such transcendental light

Muskaan Se Sabka Mann Moh Leta Hai
With his enchanting smile he bewitches all hearts
Aanand Ghan Atishay Aanand Deta Hai

The treasury of bliss bestows overwhelming joy

Charha Char Pe Jadoo Sa, Mohan Ki Maaya Niraala
All animate beings are enthralled by his magic, behold the bewitching spell this enchanter casts
Ke Aane Se Jiske Hua Hai Alokik Ujaala
Who is the one whose very coming radiates such transcendental light

Gokul Ki Dharti Pe Tribhuwan Ka Vaibhav Hai
On Gokul's earth dwells the splendour of all three heavens
Iss Baal Leela Ka Varnan Aasambhav Hai
The divine child's playful ways, 'tis indeed impossible to describe
Ke Srishti Ka Palak Bana Hai Jasoda Ka Laala
The preserver of all creation has now become Yashoda's darling son
Ke Aane Se Jiske Hua Hai Alokik Ujaala
Who is the one whose very coming radiates such transcendental light.

Shri Krishna and the Cows

“Among cows I am the wish fulfilling cow.” Lord Krishna (Bhagavad-Gita 10. 28)

Dear Friends, Today I am going to write about the Cows who were always mentioned with Krishna in his Childhood days at Gokul/ Vrindavan. They were inseparable from the Lord! All his pastimes in Gokul/ Vraj has the mention of Cows in them! We come to know that when Shri Krishna used to come back at the afternoon, the dust from the hooves of the cows spread in the sky of Gokul as well as on the Lord also! They used to add to the Beauty of the Lord! His roop used to become ‘param manohar’ during this return journey.

Now I will try to mention some important points about cows, why are they considered ‘Holy’ in Hindu Religion. Hindu Religion has always involved respect for animals as one of its central themes. Cow is the most revered animal according to Hindu Religious beliefs. That status got reinforced by the Leelas of Shri Krishna. There are some very unique qualities which make them so special! Cows are like our mothers- Gentle and Generous, they give us Milk, which is a Complete (as well as a ‘Sattvik’) food, we have So Many products from Milk- like Butter, Curd, Chesse, Cream, Yogert etc. Milk is also very essential in any religious fuction. Even the waste products of the cows are So Useful in our daily life (i.e.- in the context of village life).

The life of Gokul was free, full of Happiness, peace, like many other villages, without the complicacies of City life (nagar jeevan). Krishna’s presence there was the source/ origin of all the ‘Contentment’ in the lives of all the creatures present at that time in Gokul. Nand Baba had So Many cows, Krishna used to know each and every cow with its name. Often they were categorized by colour and named according to that like- Dhavali, Pingala, Shyamala and so on.

Krishna Loved Everyone in this creation, He wanted us to experince the ‘Oneness of Spirit’ in the Whole Creation! His Spirit was always ‘in tune’ (‘Ekaatma’) with the Whole Creation! The same Love can be seen in his interactions with cows. He was very very fond of them in every single day. The Lord is So ‘Sharanagat Vatsal’!! All the cows loved Him! And He also adored them! With his flute, (which he used to play while he stayed in the field with the cows,) He used to Captivate the all the living beings of Gukul!

He was very fond of Surabhi cows, (those were like the 'wish fulfilling’ cows), the cows from whom one can get as much milk as one needs and we can milk the cows as many time as we want. This very concept of Surabhi cows were unknown to me before knowing about Shri Krishna! There must be some spiritual significance of this concept of Surabhi cows, will write about it if I find any in future.

Among many of his names, we have ‘Gopal’, and ‘Govinda’, which mean that He is the one who protects the cows, who takes care of them. Shri Krishna always loves any offering made to the cows, by this way we offer our respect to Him also.

Ramanand Sagarji has shown the explanation of the worshipping of the cows by Krishna in such a nice way in his Tele serial –‘Shri Krishna’. Will post the link of that part soon.

Now, here is a scene where Krishna is busy with cows and here we also have His mellifluous Flute. This is one my really favourite scene from 'Shri Krishna':

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sRhpOYTdGbo&playnext=1&list=PLE62B4A4E9F1C8FE4

Remembering the Lord with the cows, his sweet pastimes in Vraj, his playful attitude towards all the beings there- makes us filled with Joy and Bliss!

namo brahmanya-devaya

go-brahmana-hitaya ca

jagad-dhitaya krsnaya

govindaya namo namah [Vishnu Purana 1.19.65]

"I offer repeated obeisance's unto Lord Krishna, who is the protector and well-wisher of the cows and the Brahmans.

'Ranchhodh'- Origin of the name of the Lord: Some scenes from 'Mahabharat' and 'Shri Krishna' TV Serials

Here I am posting a dialogue from my favourite Mahabharat where Krishna discusses about the reason and the implications of the name 'Rannchhod'.

After completing Gurukul, Krishna and Balaram join Mathura in their war against Jarasandh. The following scene comes just after Krishna and Balaram triumph over Jarasandh.

Mathura Raajsabhaa

('Krishna-Balaram ki Jay'- can be heard from the background)

Ugrasen- Yadi Krishna aur Balaram thik samay par na aa gaye hote, to Mathura ka paraajay aaj nishchit tha. To Mathura par in dono ka ek aur rinn chadh gaya.

Krishna – Kshama chaahta hoon Maharaaj, parantu maatrubhoomi kabhi rini nahi hoti. Aur yadi koi yeh soche ki usne ya uske parivaar ne maatrubhoomi par koi upkaar kiya hai, to yeh uski bhool hai. Maine jo kiya, wo mera kartavya tha. Aur aaj ke pashchaat mai jo kuchh karunga, wo keval kartavyapaalan hi ke liye karunga. Vijay ki is kshan me mai yeh kehna chaahta hoon ki Magadh Naresh Jarasandh phir aakramann karenge.

Balaram- To is me chintit hone ki kya aavashyakta hai? Yaduvanshiyon ko yun Magadh Naresh se ghabarana shobha nahi deta.

Akrur- Mai Balaram se sehmat hoon, Maharaaj.

Ugrasen- Phir bhi hume Krishna ki baat to sunni hi chaahiye. Hum yeh kaise bhul sakte hain ki yeh Devaki ka aathvaan putra hai, jo Mathura ko hi nahi, balki poori Vraj-bhoomi ko, Kans se mukti dilaane ke liye aaya hai.

Akrur- Parantu Mathura to Kans se mukt ho gayi hai Maharaaj.

Vasudev- To yeh Jarasandh kya hai? Aur yeh baar baar Mathura par aakramann kyun kar raha hai? Abhi yeh yuddh samapt nahi hua hai Maharaaj.

Krishna – Mai Pitaashree se sehmat hoon Maharaaj.

Balaram – Yadi yeh yuddh samapt nahi hua hai Pitaashree, to Jarasandh ko aane dijiye. Is baar yeh yuddh samapt hi kar dete hain.

Krishna- (smiling) Veer Purush ko yuddh ke liye itna utaavalaa nahi hona chaahiye Dau. Balveer ki to pehchaan hi yeh hai ki wo aavashyak aur anaavashyak yuddh ka antar samajh sakta hai. Anaavashyak yuddh to keval abhimaani karte hain.

Vasudev – To kya hum Magadh Naresh ke paas yeh praarthana leke jaayen Putra ki yuddh me hamaare haathon paraajay to avashya hui, parantu hum par daya karo, hum ladnaa nahi chahte?

Krishna Yadi yeh kehne se yuddh tal jaye, to yeh kehne me bhi kshati nahi hai Pitaashree.

Darbari – Yeh tum kya keh rahe ho Vaasudev Krishna? Kya hum Yaduvanshi us Jarasandh ke aagey ghutne tek den?

Krishna Nahi, ghutne to keval kaayar tekate hain, to yeh mai kaise keh sakta hoon? Apni rakshaa ke liye, raashtra ki rakshaa ke liye ladanaa to hamaarakartavya hai.

Balaram – To phir tum keh kya rahe ho? Kabhi to do bol seedhe bol liya karo…

Krishna – Mera prastaav yeh hai ki hum Yaduvanshiyo ko Mathura chhod deni chahiye.

Public – Hum Mathura nahi chhodenge … Hum Mathura nahi chhodenge…

KrishnaKrodh ki kataar krodhi ki buddhi ko kaat deti hai. To koi aise shastra ka upyog hi kyun kare?

Balaram – Baaten na banaao Krishna … Tum yehi keh rahe ho na ki Jarasandh se darr ke hum ghar bhi chhod den aur rann bhi?

Akrur – Parantu itihaas to isse kaayarta kahega.

Balaram – Yeh kehkar Nandgaon ke maakhan ka apmaan to na karo Krishna.

Krishna – Yeh kehkar mai Nandgaon ke maakhan ka apmaan nahi kar raha hoon, Dau. Uski rakshaa kar raha hoon. Magadh Naresh ki ladaai to mere saath hai na? Ki maine Mama Kans ka vadh kiya hai? Unki do putriyan to mere kaaran vidhawa hui hain. To Magadh Naresh ke krodh ki agni me Mathura kyun jale?

Balaram – Haan, to tum akele hi unke liye bahut ho.

Krishna – Prashna yeh nahi hai, Dau… Parantu yuddh tabhi hona chahiye jab doosre saare maarg bandh ho chuke hon.

Vasudev- Parantu Jarasandh ne kaunsa maarg khula chhoda hai Putra?

Krishna – Ek maarg hai Pitashree. Mathura ko yuddh ki agni se bachaane ka ek maarg ab bhi khula hai.

Ugrasen – Kusnsa maarg khula hai Vats?

Krishna – Mathura se kahin aur chale jaane ka maarg, Maharaaj.

(Genaral public are astonished by this suggestion… They all stand up…)

Krishna – Mathura me hamara yug samaapt ho gaya hai. Naye yug ke swaagat ke liye hume ek Dwarika banaani chaahiye.

Balaram – Yeh kyun nahi kehte ki rann chhodne ka prastaav rakh rahe ho?

Vasudev – Yadi tumne aisa kiya to log tumhe 'Rannchhod Shri' kehne lagenge Putra.

Krishna Jis Mathura, jis Vraj-bhoomi ko swayam maine Kans ke atyachaaron se mukti dilaayi hai, usse Magadh Naresh Jarasandh ki badle ki bhaavna se bachaane ke liye mujhe yeh bhi swikaar hai ki log mujhe 'Rannchhod' kahe. Naamo me kya rakhha hai? Naam to pukaarne ka ek saadhan hai. Aur bus log mujhe chaahe jis naam se pukaaren, parantu jab mujhe aisa lagega ki pukaarnewala mujhe pukaar raha hai, tab mai avashya bolunga. Aur rahunga mai wohi, jo hoon.

Balaram – Main to phir bhi kahunga ki Sudarshan Chakra nikaalo aur…

Krishna Har gardan Sudarshan Chakra ke yogya nahi hai, Dau!Yaduvanshiyonko apne abhimaan se pyaar hai to hum yehi rahenge. Aur yadi unhe apni Vraj-bhoomi se pyaar hai, to hume swadesh tyaag karna hi padega.Kehna mera kartavya tha, maine kar diya. Ab nirnay lena Maharaaj ka kartyya hai.

Ugrasen – Mai Vaasudev Krishna se sehmat hoon.

(After this discussion, Krishna calls Dev-Shilpi Vishwakarma, tells him about Dwarika and Vishwakarma shows the plan of Dwarika.)

All the introductory dialogues by all the other characters were necessaryLOL to reach the nice onesStar ….The way Krishna says- 'Naamo me kya rakhha hai? Naam to pukaarne ka ek saadhan hai. Aur bus log mujhe chaahe jis naam se pukaaren, parantu jab mujhe aisa lagega ki pukaarnewala mujhe pukaar raha hai, tab mai avashya bolunga. Aur rahunga mai wohi, jo hoon'- is just Awesome! Clap

And here is the same topic covered in Ramanand Sagar's Shri Krishna, in the song , where Kaalyavan follows Shri Krishna for a battle. The signifcance of the song is there in this video itself. Love to watch this scene and love the Lyrics of this song! The way Swapnil has enacted in this sc is really Great!
