'Na Mai Dhan Chahun'- A Devotional Song from the Hindi Film 'Kala Bazar' (1960)

This is a devotional song where the devotee expresses her desire to attain the Lord.

I heard this song two years back I think. Loved it because of its sincere approach and the truth about life in the lyrics. The music also is very very appealing, something like a chanting effect is there in the song as some of the lines are sung repeatedly. That helps me to get lost in devotion.

The film is 'Kala Bazar' (1960), singers are Geeta Dutt and Sudha Malhotra, lyrics are by Shailendra, music director is S D Burman.

Na Main Dhan Chaahuun, Na Ratan Chaahuun
Tere Charanon Ki Dhuul Mil Jaaye
To Main Tar Jaauun, Haan Main Tar Jaauun
He Raam Tar Jaauun...

Moh Man Mohe, Lobh Lalachaaye
Kaise Kaise Ye Naag Laharaaye
Isase Pahale Ki Man Udhar Jaaye
MainN To Mar Jaauun, Haan Main Mar Jaauun
He Raam Mar Jaauun

Tham Gayaa Paanii, Jam Gayii Kaayii
Bahatii Nadiyaa Hii Saaf Kahalaayii
Mere Dil Ne Hii Jaal Phailaaye
Ab Kidhar Jaaun, Main Kidhar Jaauun - 2
Ab Kidhar Jaaun, Main Kidhar Jaauun

Laaye Kyaa The Jo Leke Jaanaa Hai
Nek Dil Hii Teraa Khazaanaa Hai
Shaam Hote Hi Panchi Aa Jaaye
Ab To Ghar Jaaun Apane Ghar Jaaun
Ab To Ghar Jaaun Apane Ghar Jaauun
.

Jai Shri Krishna!

'Shri Krishna Stuti': 2 Songs from Ramanand Saagar's 'Shri Krishna'

Dear Friends, today I am posting two of my most favourite songs from the TV Serial 'Shri Krishna'. Both the songs have these words- 'Shri Krishna Govinda Hare Muraare' ... and the Music is also the same.... The first one is from the scene when Shri Krishna comes to the womb of Devaki, all the god along with Brahmaji and Naaradji come to sing the glory of the Lord! That moment conveys the joy of the coming of the Lord on this earth! I always feel the happiness inside while listening to it. This is the video of the sequence (Uploaded by Dear Sister Lola) : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83UELX4Fnn4 The lyrics along with its English Translation was originally posted by Lola in 'India Forums': Narayanaya Namo Namah, Parmeshwaraya Namo Namah - we bow to you, God Y'asmin Sthitah Jagat Sarvam, Sa Janani Garbhe Sthitah- you, within whom the whole universe resides, now reside in this mother's womb Nirakaarah Ajanmayo, So Vayi Sa Karmagatah - formless, unborn, s
