Ramanand Sagar's 'Shri Krishna' (12): - Asking for help from Brahmaji and Shri Hari

After telling about the unique features of Shri Ram an Shri Krishna, now Shukdevji narrates about the grave situation at the end of Dwapar yug. Many raakshasaas and Asuraas started to dominate the earth. Everyone of the creation were very sad due to their tyranny. So Naaradji along with Indradev, Prithvi Mata, Debguru Brihaspati and all the other gods, went to Brahmaji. They started to tell him about their problems and asked for help.

Prathvi Mata's duty was to give birth to noble children and spread devotion. But now some of her cruel children are committing sins due to the vices in their nature. She can't bear anymore and wants divine help....

Indradev told that the great asur Hiranyakashyap has taken birth as Jarasandh. Because of his 'taamasik' nature, he  is imprisoning the virtuous kings, and also planning to sacrifice them to attain more power.

Devguru Brihaspati said- the great asur Kaalnemi is born as Kansa, who wants to establish adharma and so he is oppressing the saints in Mathura.

Now Brahmaji told them- every time when Dharma is threatened and sins become heavy to Mother Earth, The Lord incarnates, to protect the virtuous, to establish Dharma and to destroy adharma.  Now they will all go to ksheer saagar to tell the Lord about it.

They reach ksheer saagar and here we have a nice song- 'Sharanaagat vasal Naarayan, Naarayan' and the earnest cry of 'Traahimaam' coming from the hearts of the devotees truly reflect their helpless state!! The way they have come to take refuge in the Lord!!!

Now the Lord appears as a light and communicates with Brahmaji with 'Para vaani', which is inaudible to normal beings. After that Brahmaji told all of them present there, about the Divine Command of the Lord-

He said- The Lord knows about the difficult situation on earth and He has decided to destroy all the sinners. He will incarnate on earth with all His 16 'Kalas'. The presiding deity of 'Raas mandali',  Shri Radhe Rani will also acoompany Him, on Earth. The Lord will appear in Vasudevji's house.

After saying all these, now Brahmaji also instructed all the gods as well as the kinnars and gandharvaas to take birth on earth, thus to help the Lord in His Leela :)

Here ends this part, as all of them follow Brahmaji's instuction.

'Hari Haraye Namah Krishna'

This is a very famous and old stotra on Shri Krishna. I heard it for the first time in the film 'Aagantuk'. Utpal Dutt was reciting this stotra, the original voice was of Satyajit Ray's, I think. But there the stotra remained incomplete as the next events of the film started taking place. From then, I always wanted to listen the full stotra along with reading it. Very recently I came to the audio track of the same and got the lyrics on internet. It has 10 stanzas, written by Narottam Das. Above the post I have given the vidoe of the song from YouTube, and here is the lyrics, and the English translation (which I got from the internet, credit goes to the original writer who posted the lyrics). (1) Hari haraye namah krishna yadavaya namah Yadavaya madhavaya kesavaya namah (2) Gopala govinda rama sri-madhusudana Giridhari gopinatha madana-mohana (3) Sri-caitanya-nityananda sri-advaita-sita Hari guru vaishnava bhagavata gita (4) Sri-rupa sanatana bhatta-...
