This is a devotional song where the devotee expresses her desire to attain the Lord.  I heard this song two years back I think. Loved it because of its sincere approach and the truth about life in the lyrics. The music also is very very appealing, something like a chanting effect is there in the song as some of the lines are sung repeatedly. That helps me to get lost in devotion.  The film is 'Kala Bazar ' (1960), singers are Geeta Dutt and Sudha Malhotra, lyrics are by Shailendra, music director is S D Burman.
