After telling about the composition of 'Shrimad Bhagwaat Mahapuraan', Shukdevji tells the story of Parashuraam Avtaar. He was the 'ugra avtaar' of the Lord. He destroyed kshatriya clan from the earth many times.
Later when he met Shri Ram, His pride was destroyed.
Some scenes from Ramanand Saagarji's 'Ramayan' is shown during the narration of this story.
Now Shukdevji tells king Parikshit about Shri Ram avtaar.
Here we have a nice song- 'Muni katha sunaate Ram sakal gundhaam ki...'- which was also used in Ramanand Saagarji's 'Uttar Ramayan', where Luv Kush sang the same song in Shri Ram's court. Here the same song has been used in the background, though he singers are different from the original (i.e.-'Uttar Ramayan') one. All the scenes from Ramayan has been shown throughout the whole song. Starting from the putrakaameshti yagnya by Rishyashringa muni, then the birth of all the four brothers, Shri Ram, Lakshman, Bharat and Shatrughna. Their childhood, their days at the gurukul and coming back. Then Shri Ram and Lakshman's journey with Rishi Vishwamitra, death of Taadka, Ahilya uddhaar, Visit to Mithila and Sita Swayamvar. Then we have the Hardhanu bhang by Shri Ram, the maariage ceremony of Siya Ram along with the maarriage of all the three brothers. Then comes the frightful interaction between Raja Dashrath and rani Kaikeyi, as a result of that Shri Ram- Siya - Lakshman leave for jungle. At Chirakoot we have Bharat milaap scenes and then Bharat leaving with the 'charan paaduka' of Shri Ram. Then some scenes of the satsangs of all the muni rishis of the jungle. Now another sad incident takes place- 'sita haran' by Raavan. While searching for his wife, Shri Ram meets Hanumaanji, who enlightens the whole creation with his pure devotion to the Lord! He goes to Lanka, meets Mata Sita, burns the city and comes back. Later a bridge is made ('setubandhan' episode) and the Lord goes to Lanka with his army of monkeys. Raavan's chief stalwarts- Meghnaad, Kumbhkaran- all die during the war and al last Raavan also gets killed in the hand of Shri Ram. Mata Sita is saved and they all comeback to Ayodhya. The whole craetion along with the Ayodhya vaasis feel blessd to see the 'Ram darbaar' in Ayodhya.
This song sequence ends with the famous line-
'Hari ananata Hari kaha anaantha
Kahahi sunehi bahu vidhi sab santa'.
It is also mentioned in the song that Shukdevji 's sweet voice, humble tone and emotionl narration added more sweetness ('ras') to the tale of the Lord.
And now, he compares Shri Ram and Shri Krishna with these words- that Shri Ram was the supreme yardstick of Human 'Dharma', for him Duty was supreme. And Shri Krishna, on the other hand was supreme in Spiritual Depth, for him the Emotions/ Devotion is supreme. These are the chief features in these two great incarnations of the Lord. Shri Ram rarely expressd himself as God in front of others and Shri Krishna never hid his true identity.
